YESTERDAY'S LEARNINGS - THE WAY OF LEARNING
I learned the following things mentioned below on 10/8/22 from the book SHOW YOUR WORK BY Austin Kleon.
- Tell good Stories : Become a story teller and attract people . People love stories when emotions are attached with it ..Read show your work for some story telling pattern given by Emma coats former story board artist at pixar.
- Speak about yourself at parties : Meet new people and let them know what you're upto. Tell them in a form of story to get them be instrested in your work.
- Teach what you know : If you have learn't something have no shame at sharing with other's , let them learn too . By this they will be much more connected to you . Best thing about sharing stuff online or offline is that you get to learn from the audience too. They write to you , meet you at event's and teach you something new .
‘The cat sat on a mat’ is not a story. ‘The cat sat on the dog’s mat’ is a story.”
—John le Carré
“Whatever we say, we’re always talking about ourselves.”
—Alison Bechdel
“Make people better at something they want to be better at.”
— Blogger Kathy Sierra
"Teaching people doesn’t subtract value from what you do, it actually adds to it "
